The Print Room Operator plays a crucial role in our client’s production team, responsible for producing high-quality printed signage. In this role, you will manage and operate various printing and laminating machinery, ensuring all signage meets quality standards. You will collaborate with other Print Room employees and report directly to the Operations Manager. As a part of the team, you will contribute to maintaining KPIs and achieving business performance goals.

Duties:

  • Operate printing and laminating machinery.
  • Collaborate with team on print room projects.
  • Ensure timely completion of signage production tasks.
  • Maintain high-quality standards for printed materials.
  • Support team to achieve KPIs and operational goals.
  • Participate in regular meetings to discuss progress.
  • Adhere to confidentiality agreements and company policies.
  • Deliver accurate and quality work consistently.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with vinyl and digital media printing.
  • Ability to work with CAD and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Numeracy and literacy skills at Grade 10 level.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and practicality.
  • Certificate III in Signs and Graphics is preferred.
  • Car license preferred but not essential.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to be a team player.
