We are partnering with a leading Australian cyber security and managed services organisation that is continuing to expand its Security Engineering practice nationally. This is an opportunity to join a highly respected team delivering enterprise-grade cyber security solutions to mid-market and enterprise clients across Australia.
The Opportunity
As a Senior Security Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering advanced cyber security consulting and implementation services, with a particular focus on Netskope technologies and modern secure access architectures.
This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys a blend of:

You will work closely with clients to design, implement, and optimise secure enterprise environments, while also mentoring junior consultants and contributing to the growth of the broader cyber practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of enterprise cyber security solutions
- Architect and implement Netskope-based SSE and Zero Trust solutions
- Provide technical leadership across consulting engagements
- Work directly with clients to understand business and security requirements
- Assist with security strategy, roadmap development, and solution architecture
- Contribute to presales activities including workshops, solution design, and technical presentations
- Mentor and support junior engineers and consultants
- Develop high-quality technical documentation including HLDs, LLDs, migration guides, and operational documentation
- Stay current with emerging cyber security technologies and industry trends
- Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to improve service offerings
Mandatory Technical Skills
Strong Netskope Experience (Essential)
You must demonstrate strong hands-on experience across:
- Netskope Secure Web Gateway (SWG)
- Netskope Private Access (NPA)
- Netskope Cloud Security functionality
- Secure Service Edge (SSE) concepts and deployments
- Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) architectures
- Security policy design and implementation
- Secure remote access and cloud-delivered security controls
Networking & Security
- Strong networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, segmentation, and secure access design
- Strong understanding of Zero Trust principles
- Security architecture and enterprise security design experience
- Experience working in consulting or professional services environments
Highly Desirable Skills
Experience with any of the following technologies will be highly regarded:
- Microsoft Global Secure Access
- Microsoft Security Stack
- Defender for Office 365
- Mimecast
- Abnormal Security
- Airlock Digital
- Cloud security platforms
- Identity and access management technologies
About You
You are a technically strong cyber security professional who can confidently engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You will ideally possess:
- 5+ years’ experience in cyber security consulting or engineering
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience delivering client-facing consulting engagements
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience producing high-quality technical documentation
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating within a broader consulting team
- A passion for modern cyber security technologies and continuous learning
Nice to Have
- Exposure to ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, or Australian ISM frameworks
- Relevant cyber security certifications
- Experience in enterprise or managed services environments
- Exposure to cloud security and modern workplace security technologies
