This is a crucial role where you will manage operations and promote business growth. You will be responsible for positioning the company as a top provider of safety and related products designed for industrial and commercial markets.

Duties: 

  • Prepare and follow up on quotations to maintain a solid pipeline of work.
  • Manage ongoing marketing needs, including lead generation, website, presentations, and client visits.
  • Review contract documents for accuracy and address conflicts.
  • Assist in developing business plans with short and long-term objectives.
  • Prepare and update budgets to ensure revenue and profitability.
  • Provide regular performance reporting to senior management.
  • Source and manage subcontractors to meet project timelines.
  • Update CRM daily with the latest project and prospect information. 

Skills and Experience: 

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business development, particularly within construction industry
  • Strong focus on sales with proven deal-closing ability.
  • Managerial experience demonstrating leadership and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Skilled at developing and maintaining financial plans.
  • Proven ability to motivate and hold teams accountable.
  • Sound knowledge of operational procedures and industry standards.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and detail-oriented personality.
