About the Role:
 
Our client is an expert in their field and have been providing printing, labels and flexible packaging options to a variety of commercial businesses, for over 50 years.  Their professionalism, high quality workmanship and excellent customer service, has seen them now grow to become one of Asia Pacific’s leading label manufacturers.

Due to an internal promotion, they are now seeking a confident, energetic, self-motivated Internal Sales/Account Manager, who will be responsible for managing a set customer territory and identifying and securing new business opportunities.  This is a busy sales-focused role, where you will be servicing new and existing customers, managing customer enquiries via phone and email and seeking out new opportunities for the business.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have proven sales experience, excellent communication skills, a problem-solving mindset and the ability to meet and exceed sales targets and KPI’s.  Experience in the printing or packaging industry or the FMCG sector, is highly desirable.

Duties:

  • Manage a Customer Territory, build & nurture client relationships
  • Identify business opportunities, handle new sales calls & develop a sales pipeline
  • Action customer requests and enquiries over the phone and via email
  • Make outbound calls to actively seek out new sales opportunities
  • Manage email in-boxes, ensuring all requests are actioned in a timely manner
  • Follow up client quotations and repeat orders requirements
  • Review customer service retention reports & contact dormant accounts
  • Contribute to sales and marketing strategy and planning meetings
  • Provide problem solving and “solution sales” to customers
  • Manage relationships with an existing network of customers

Skills and Experience:

  • Internal sales/account management experience, ideally within printing, packaging, manufacturing or FMCG environment
  • Strong B2B sales skills, with the ability to build & foster long-term relationships
  • You thrive on meeting and exceeding company targets & KPI’s
  • Pride yourself on having the highest level of customer service
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High level of Computer literacy including MS Office & internal CRM systems
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic “can-do” attitude
  • Professional manner and the ability to use your initiative
  • Excellent time management & organizational skills
  • MUST have Australian working rights for Permanent Role
