About the Role
Our client is a well-established and growing provider of healthcare equipment solutions, backed by a global distribution group. With a strong reputation for quality and innovation, they partner closely with aged care and healthcare providers to improve patient outcomes and staff safety.
We are seeking a driven and resilient Sales & Business Development Manager who thrives on winning new business. This is a hands-on, field-based role focused on targeting and converting new aged care customers across Melbourne and regional Victoria.
You’ll be selling a range of capital equipment solutions into residential aged care facilities and care groups, including overhead lifting systems, beds, pressure care mattresses and specialist seating. This role is all about proactive outreach, building relationships from scratch, and closing deals.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify, target and win new aged care customers
- Drive high-volume prospecting activity including cold calling, door knocking and site visits
- Develop and execute territory plans across Melbourne and regional Victoria
- Build relationships with key decision-makers including facility managers, procurement and clinical leaders
- Deliver tailored, solution-based presentations and arrange product demonstrations
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to close
- Maintain accurate pipeline and activity reporting
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients
Skills & Experience
- Proven success in a hunter-style B2B sales role
- Experience selling capital equipment into aged care, hospitals or healthcare environments
- Background in products such as lifting systems, beds, pressure care, or mobility equipment highly regarded
- Not suited to candidates from consumables or pharmacy sales backgrounds
- Strong face-to-face selling capability with a track record of winning new business
- Highly self-motivated, resilient and comfortable with rejection
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Commercially astute and target-driven
- Physically and mentally resilient, with the ability to handle a high level of daily activity and travel
- 5–15 years of B2B capital sales experience preferred
- This role is NOT suitable to candidates who require Sponsorship, or do not live in Australia and have full AU working rights.
