About the Role
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Level 1 Desk Side Support Agent to join a dedicated on-site IT support team in the education sector. In this full-time, on-site role, you will be the first point of contact for technical support, working closely with teachers, administration staff, and students. Your work will help ensure a smooth and reliable technology environment across the school community.
What You’ll Do
- Provide desk side and remote Level 1 technical support for Windows and macOS devices
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues
- Support classroom technologies, printers/MFDs (Papercut), AV equipment, and VoIP systems (3CX knowledge desirable)
- Manage and resolve service tickets in a timely manner
- Set up and maintain user accounts and devices using Microsoft 365, Intune, and Azure AD
- Support key applications including Microsoft Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Adobe Suite
About You
- 1-2 years’ experience in Level 1 IT support or similar customer-facing technical roles
- Experience supporting Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, Intune, SharePoint, and basic networking
- Strong customer service focus with excellent communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and in a small on-site team
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable personal vehicle
- Must be eligible to work in Australia and pass a Working With Children Check
Bonus: Experience in an education environment and familiarity with VoIP systems like 3CX.
