About the Role
Our client, a data-driven digital solutions company, is looking for a skilled and motivated IT Infrastructure & Systems Administrator to join their dynamic Technical Services team.
In this high-performance environment, you will collaborate with the company’s MSPs to manage and support on-premises, cloud, and SaaS infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, MS SQL, and MS Azure.

Duties:
- Provide in-house end-user support, workstation configuration & IT support.
- Maintain IT systems & procedures according to ISO 27001 Information Security Management System standards.
- Collaborate with Managed Service Providers to support on-premise & cloud Infrastructure.
- Update & maintain IT technical infrastructure diagrams.
- Support IT infrastructure & data canter, including VMware, LANs, WANs, Azure, network & security, backup & storage, intranets, SFTP & other communication systems.
- Set up endpoint computers, download software, security patches, & provide low-level support for internal applications.
- Audit backups, review logs, & support recovery plans to decrease system failure risk.
- Work closely with MSPs and prioritise relationships with our internal teams.
- Needs to be a strong communicator.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant IT environment.
- Skilled IT professional with strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Experience leading teams in IT database, infrastructure, security, or network technology.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (preferred: Bachelor’s in IT, Infrastructure, Network & Systems Administration with a Cyber Security focus).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Solid technical expertise in VMware, Windows Server, MS Azure, MS SQL Server, Windows desktop OS, MS SCCM, MS Office 365, and IIS/SSL.
- Intermediate networking knowledge, including LAN, WAN, and WLAN.
- Experience with routing, switching, and firewalls (WatchGuard and Cisco).
- Ability to provide Level 1 & 2 IT support and manage budgets.
- Knowledge of ISO 27001 (highly desirable).
- Strong documentation skills with the ability to write professional reports.
- Must have permanent work rights in Australia.
