About the Role:

As an experienced Draftsperson/Industrial Designer you will be responsible for creating detailed designs and drawings, assisting in the development of industrial products, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role also involves direct communication with clients to understand their requirements and provide design solutions that meet their needs.

Duties:
- Create detailed technical drawings, schematics, and layouts for products and systems using CAD software (SolidWorks, Draft site, AutoCAD, etc.).
- Communicate with clients to gather requirements, present design concepts, and incorporate their feedback.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to refine product designs.
- Develop innovative design solutions that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.
- Modify and improve existing designs based on client or internal feedback.
- Interpret and apply relevant industry standards, specifications, and regulations to designs.
- Prepare 3D models and prototypes to visualize and test design concepts.
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective.
- Ensure that all designs meet quality, safety, and durability standards.
- Provide support throughout the production process to address any design-related issues.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Draftsperson, Industrial Designer, or similar role.
- A degree or certification in Industrial Design, Drafting, or related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software SolidWorks (desirable but not mandatory Draft site, AutoCAD, REVIT)
- Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and industrial design principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings and designs.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work well within a team and directly with clients.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Experience with 3D printing or rapid prototyping technologies.
- Experience with CNC machinery (desirable)
