They are seeking a proactive, articulate, and highly organised Conveyancing Assistant & Receptionist. This unique dual-purpose role combines professional front-of-house reception duties with essential post-exchange client liaison and administration. You will be the primary point of contact after contracts have exchanged, guiding clients through the workflow leading up to settlement. Your main goal is to manage routine inquiries, follow up on documentation, and maintain momentum on files, allowing the Principal Conveyancer to focus on technical legal matters.

Duties:
- Act as the first point of contact for clients, presenting a warm and professional demeanour.
- Manage incoming calls, identifying client needs and answering queries.
- Greet visitors and handle outgoing mail while maintaining a tidy reception area.
- Keep clients informed about their property transaction progress.
- Coordinate the verification of identity processes for clients.
- Follow up with clients for outstanding forms and supporting documents.
- Handle routine post-exchange enquiries effectively.
- Execute administrative tasks including data entry and document management.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in administration support and/or reception duties.
- Exceptional and confident telephone manner.
- Present yourself confidently with a professional appearance and a warm, friendly and approachable personality.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a knack for building client rapport.
- Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Eager to learn the basics of the conveyancing process and adapt to relevant software.
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to make independent decisions.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM systems.
