As an experienced Architect, you will be instrumental in shaping the direction of the practice. You will lead and manage projects from inception to completion, collaborating closely with clients to deliver innovative and sustainable designs tailored to their needs. In this role, you will oversee and mentor project teams, driving both project success and team development. Additionally, you will engage in strategic planning to promote practice growth, ensuring operational efficiency and maintaining a high standard of work.

Based in the major hub of Central Queensland surrounded by pristine beaches.

Duties: 

  • Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion.
  • Collaborate with clients to deliver innovative, sustainable designs.
  • Oversee and mentor project teams, ensuring strong performance.
  • Strategize for practice growth and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct risk management and project oversight.
  • Manage technical documentation and project specifications.
  • Undertake contract administration and liaise with contractors.
  • Prepare fee proposals and contribute to business development.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication and high-quality project delivery. 

Skills and Experience

  • Registered Architect with significant Australian experience.
  • An architectural degree from Australia or the UK required.
  • Proficient with Revit or ArchiCAD.
  • Experience in the education and commercial sectors is beneficial.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of NCC, local planning schemes, and Australian Standards.
  • Strong project management and client relationship skills.
  • White Card, a driver’s licence, and your own vehicle are necessary.
  • Integrity, reliability, and solid construction knowledge are essential.
