About the Role
Our Client supplies world leading Construction Equipment Brands through sales and hire of their equipment, as well as having an extensive after-sales division for servicing and parts. They are now seeking a self-motivated and mechanically minded Parts Consultant, who has superior customer service skills and takes pride in their work.
Reporting to the Parts Manager, you will be supporting internal stakeholders in the Hire and Workshop divisions of the business. Most parts requests will be sent via email and you will be responsible for the sourcing of new, used or remanufactured parts from a variety of places. You must have the ability to gather information, understand it and keep accurate records. This is a busy role, which requires a high level of communication between the team and an ability to think outside the square.

Duties:
- Source and transferring of parts to the hire & workshop teams
- Identify and resolve parts requests for internal stakeholders with timely follow up on all requests
- Follow established processes to ensure accurate and efficient turn around of orders
- Handle complaints and warranty issues with any parts sourced
- Complete and coordinate all associated paperwork, record keeping and updating of internal CRM systems
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Represent the company values, ethics and services in a professional manner at all times
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in a parts consulting role preferably, in the mobile plant industry, however we will consider other automotive parts experience
- Strong solution focused problem-solving skills
- Ability to build customer relationships and provide top notch service
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Office applications and CRM’s
- Ability to understand OEM parts manuals on-line & hard copy
- A genuine team player with a supportive and friendly personality
- Drivers licence essential
- Forklift licence or the ability to obtain a licence
- MUST have full Australian working rights
