A position is now available for a talented Joinery Sales Estimator & Designer to join their team in Melbourne. This is a full-time position responsible for providing accurate estimates and designing custom joinery solutions, using a combination of materials, labour and subcontractor quotes. Working closely with the Sales Director, this pivotal role in the business will see your work have a direct impact on the success of their joinery projects, from concept through to production.

Duties:
- Prepare detailed estimates for Commercial joinery and cabinetry projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness
- Support the project team with contracts administration tasks, to ensure smooth project planning and execution
- Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients throughout the design and estimation process
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials and technologies to recommend the best solutions
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the estimation and design processes
- Submit quotes, update the CRM, and set up and undertake follow up activities
- Maintain an up to date materials/fixtures library with pricing updates
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years previous experience in joinery estimation or a background as a cabinet maker looking to transition into estimation.
- A strong understanding of joinery manufacturing processes, materials, and construction methods.
- A high attention to detail, with the ability to follow up and see a project through to completion
- Ability to engage with clients, suppliers, and team members effectively.
- Proficiency in estimating tools and software ie; Nexvia, Hubspot, MS Office
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Results driven, with a high level of commercial acumen
- An analytical mind and high level problem-solving ability
- MUST have full Australian working rights. This position is not suitable to candidates requiring Sponsorship.
