Trainee Commercial Water Service Technician

In this permanent, full-time role, you will be trained over six months to become a specialist water treatment technician before taking full responsibility for an allocated territory. You’ll manage all aspects of delivering high-quality non-potable water treatment and testing products and services for commercial applications.

Reporting directly to the Director of Operations and working alongside a close-knit team of five professional technicans, your key responsibilities will include maintaining treatment systems, ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulations, and supporting the Sales & Service Team in achieving business development goals. Approximately 95% of the workload involves stable, repeat service work with existing clients.

 Duties:

  • Manage all customer interactions in your designated territory.
  • Provide timely and effective service in accordance with company standards.
  • Driving between sites, working outdoors and in plant rooms
  • Collaborate with Sales & Service Team on strategic initiatives.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure compliance.
  • Resolve customer issues efficiently to maintain satisfaction.
  • Prepare monthly territories reports for performance tracking.
  • Promote the company’s offerings to clients while building lasting relationships.
  • Support colleague efforts to meet shared KPIs and business goals.

 Skills and Experience:

  • Strong communication skills with a focus on relationship-building.
  • Physically fit, able to perform tasks that require strength and mobility.
  • Valid driver’s license is a must for the role.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Experience in customer service or technical support roles is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and documentation.
  • Willingness to learn new systems and procedures efficiently.
