We’re currently hiring for a reliable and experienced Mechanic based in the Western Suburbs and Bayside/South Eastern Suburbs, who offers a positive, can-do attitude in all that they do!

As a vital member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service to our long-term clients on a variety of material handling equipment which includes breakdowns, fault finding and servicing of our hire fleet.

Duties:
- Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance of customer units which includes preventative service and breakdowns in a timely manner
- Maintain professional level of customer service
- Maintain accurate records of job sheets, timesheets, and any other administrative components
- Upsell parts and service upgrades as appropriate
- Ensure the service van is stocked appropriately and maintained in a clean and satisfactory state and stored safely after hours
- Work in the workshop as appropriate and maintaining the workshop in a clean and tidy state
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position or have transferable skills
- Relevant trade qualification (Forklift Mechanic, Motor Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle/Plant/Diesel Mechanic)
- Must Hold a valid current Driver’s License
- Great Communication Skills
- Physically fit
- Good time management skills with the ability to work independently.
