They are seeking a hands-on, highly organised Inventory Coordinator to manage the day-to-day control of stock across their warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor daily inbound and outbound stock movements. Manage put-away, replenishment, and stock-location accuracy across the warehouse.
- Ensure all received stock is meticulously checked, recorded, and allocated to the correct warehouse locations. Assist with inbound container planning, stock allocation, and warehouse capacity management.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within company ERP/inventory systems, ensuring physical stock perfectly matches system data. Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure stock movements/transfers are recorded digitally rather than relying on handwritten notes.
- Investigate any stock discrepancies, working alongside the warehouse team to identify root causes and resolve them. Coordinate regular cycle counts and assist with full stocktakes when required.
- Monitor pallet and product locations to maintain an efficient, organised warehouse layout. Ensure the warehouse is properly reset and organised at the end of each day so it is ready for the following morning.
- Supervise a small team to ensure stock is received, stored, moved, and recorded correctly. Identify inventory or warehouse process issues, escalate or recommend improvements, and support Operations Management with inventory reporting.
Skills and experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in inventory control, warehouse coordination, stock control, or a similar distribution/logistics environment.
- Strong working knowledge of core warehouse processes, including receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, dispatch, and cycle counts.
- Highly comfortable working split-time between the active warehouse floor and utilizing inventory/ERP systems.
- Exceptionally organised with strong leadership capabilities, problem-solving skills, and a process-driven mindset.
