About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced, reliable and hands-on Warehouse / Office All Rounder to join a well established business in Oakleigh South. This is a varied role combining warehouse, light assembly, customer service and warehouse administration. You will work as part of a small team, taking responsibility for the day-to-day warehouse operation while also dealing directly with customers and assisting with orders, returns and general enquiries.
The right person will be mechanically minded, computer literate and confident working independently. Over time, there is genuine opportunity to take on more responsibility and become the Team Leader.

Duties:
- Pick, pack and dispatch orders
- Light assembly and general warehouse duties
- Receive stock and maintain inventory
- Handle customer enquiries, orders, credits and counter sales
- Process purchase orders and coordinate freight
- Use computer systems to manage orders and warehouse information
- Work closely with the warehouse team member and take ownership of the day-to-day operation
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and workflow
Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years’ experience in a warehouse, trade, distribution or similar environment
- Strong pick/pack and warehouse experience
- Mechanically minded with an interest in technical products
- Good computer skills and comfortable learning new systems
- Customer service experience with good communication skills
- Experience with light assembly would be highly regarded
- Organised, reliable and able to manage competing priorities
- Confident working independently and using initiative
- Physically fit, with the ability to lift 25kgs
- Mature, trustworthy and committed to a long-term opportunity
- Experience in water, irrigation, pneumatics, hydraulics or a mechanical environment would be advantageous but not essential
