Warehouse Assistant

About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Assistant to join our growing team in Truganina. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in getting the job done, and is looking for a stable long-term opportunity. The successful candidate will work closely with the warehouse team to support daily operations and ensure products are received, stored and dispatched efficiently.
Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Receiving, checking and storing incoming stock
- Preparing orders for dispatch
- Loading and unloading stock, pallets and containers
- Booking freight and coordinating dispatch activities
- Maintaining inventory accuracy and participating in stock takes
- Organising and maintaining warehouse storage areas
- General warehouse duties and housekeeping
- Assisting with day-to-day warehouse operations as required
About You:
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Physically fit and capable of safely handling bulky and awkward freight
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Basic computer skills
- Current driver’s licence preferred
- Forklift licence advantageous but not essential, with training available if required
