Duties:
- Lead and mentor a team of report writers, checkers, and field technicians.
- Oversee site investigation processes, including soil sampling and testing.
- Prepare, review, and sign off on geotechnical reports.
- Provide accurate quotations for geotechnical services to clients.
- Liaise with clients to address technical queries and provide guidance.
- Interpret site data and recommend appropriate foundation designs.
- Collaborate with internal engineers on geotechnical aspects of designs.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to safety protocols in all operations.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering; postgraduate qualifications preferred.
- Professional registration as a Chartered Engineer with Engineers Australia.
- Expertise in geotechnical engineering focused on site investigations.
- Strong knowledge of Victoria’s geology and Australian Standards compliance.
