About the Role
Our Client supplies world leading Construction Equipment Brands through sales and hire of their equipment, as well as having an extensive after-sales division for servicing and parts. They are now seeking a self-motivated Parts Consultant, who has superior customer service skills and takes pride in their work.
In this newly created role, you will be responsible for dealing with customers face to face, via email or over the phone and problem solving their parts needs. A strong focus on speed, accuracy and communication is essential to ensure customers receive timely and reliable support, whilst maximising sales performance and profitability. Knowledge and experience with earthmoving and construction equipment is desirable, however experience in light vehicle parts, agricultural or heavy vehicle will also be considered.

Duties:
- Build and maintain relationships with key accounts and existing customers to drive repeat business and increase parts sales.
- Proactively monitor and action outstanding orders and enquiries
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge and provide recommendations to clients.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets, KPI’s, and customer engagement expectations.
- Improve quote conversion rates through consistent quote follow ups
- Chase payments on outstanding invoices and manage accounts where required.
- Ensure freight is booked correctly and goods delivered in accordance with the customers requirements
- Represent the company values, ethics and services in a professional manner at all times
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in Automotive parts
- Strong solution focused problem-solving skills
- Passion for building customer relationships & providing top notch customer service
- Strong sales skills with the ability to meet targets and KPI’s
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Computer literate, including ERP & Microsoft Office applications
- A genuine team player with a “CAN DO” attitude
- Clean drivers licence
