About the Role:
Our Client supplies world leading Construction Equipment brands through sales and hire of their equipment throughout four countries in the World and in addition, they also have a comprehensive after-sales divisions for servicing and parts.
  
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. This is a hands-on, autonomous role where you’ll take ownership of warehouse operations, ensuring goods are received and dispatched in excellent condition, accurately recorded and always backed by the correct documentation.  Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will play a key role in maintaining stock integrity and ensuring customer orders are fulfilled right the first time.

The successful candidate will bring experience in a stores or warehouse environment within industries such as automotive, heavy vehicle, agriculture, construction or heavy equipment. A current forklift licence is essential. We’re seeking someone who takes pride in their work, thrives in a responsible position, and is eager to grow with the organisation for the long term.

Duties:

  • Receive goods using the Company’s software systems, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and complete.
  • Verify that goods are received in good order and condition.
  • Assist Purchasing staff by providing accurate information to support effective stock management.
  • Operate forklifts to safely load, unload, and store goods in racking, following all safety checks and operational guidelines.
  • Accurately process customer orders through the appropriate software systems.
  • Safely load and dispatch orders, ensuring items are delivered correctly and on time.
  • Package goods securely and appropriately to maintain condition during transit and to minimise freight costs.
  • Maintain stock accuracy through correct use of a First-In, First-Out rotation system.
  • Communicate promptly with the relevant salesperson regarding any orders that cannot be dispatched as requested.
  • Maintaining a safe workplace by complying with all health and safety legislation

Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years experience in a stores/warehousing role
  • A high level of computer skills
  • Mechanically minded and/or parts experience in light vehicle, agriculture, heavy vehicle or mobile plant machinery
  • Positive, friendly, can-do attitude
  • Ability to complete tasks and work under pressure
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Hard worker, who is honest and reliable
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Forklift licence essential
  • Drivers Licence
  • Physically fit, with the ability to undertake heavy lifting
  • MUST be in Australia and have full working rights.
