About the Role:
Our Client supplies world leading Construction Equipment brands through sales and hire of their equipment throughout four countries in the World and in addition, they also have a comprehensive after-sales divisions for servicing and parts.
A newly created position is now available for a driven and conscientious Storeperson to join their team. This is a busy high volume role, where your responsibilities will include; receipt and dispatch of parts, unloading and loading of trucks with a forklift, organising deliveries to customers and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. If you are mechanically minded and have an interest in anything Automotive that would be a distinct advantage.
The successful applicant will need to pride themselves on their excellent attention to detail and possess the willingness to add value to their role and this growing business. We are looking for someone to join the organisation for the long-term and strong prospects exist for advancement for the right person.

Duties:
- Unloading and loading of trucks
- Moving parts around the warehouse ensuring they are in the right area
- Ensure accurate stocks/records are held
- Checking and putting away of stock orders
- Maintaining an accurate and clean warehouse
- Maintaining a safe workplace by complying with all health and safety legislation
- Stocktake & Inventory cycle counts
- Interpreting parts requests from the Workshop
- Taking care of the transfer and overall delivery of parts to customers
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in a high volume stores/warehousing role, ideally in automotive, engineering, mechanical or similar
- Mechanically minded and/or an interest in heavy machinery
- Professional Phone Manner essential
- A good level of computer skills
- Positive, friendly, can-do attitude
- Hard worker, who is honest and reliable
- Excellent attention to detail
- Forklift licence essential
- Drivers Licence essential
- Physically fit, with the ability to undertake heavy lifting
- MUST be in Australia and have full working rights.
