About the Role
  
Our client is looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented Account Manager to join their dynamic team.
  
In this strategic yet hands-on role, reporting directly to the General Manager, you will manage and grow independent B2B accounts while providing outstanding customer service. You will be responsible for nurturing existing relationships, identifying new business opportunities within the portfolio, and proactively seeking new sales prospects.

Duties:

  • Develop and maintain long-term strategic relationships with independent B2B accounts, ensuring customer needs are met and expanding relationships through tailored solutions.
  • Manage all communications between B2B accounts and internal teams, ensuring prompt, courteous responses to customer queries and escalations.
  • Negotiate and close profitable sales agreements, contributing to both short-term and long-term revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to identify new sales opportunities, support brand programs, and assist with account administration and event planning.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, track key account metrics, and report on progress to stakeholders.
  • Maintain a consistent call cycle to visit B2B accounts, enhance relationships, and share updates on customer visits and improvements.
  • Develop pricing strategies and prepare recommendations for management approval.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in sales and customer relations, ideally within the wholesale or retail industry, with a strong understanding of consumer and customer needs and a passion for the baby industry.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, financial acumen, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • The ability to leverage and interpret customer and sales data to develop effective strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with strong influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent presentation and delivery skills (to audiences of all sizes).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with key clients.
  • Ability to work independently with high attention to detail, prioritize tasks, and achieve outcomes with minimal supervision.
