About the Role:
As a Service Technician, you’ll play a hands-on role supporting our Victorian client base across the Food, Beverage, Dairy, Brewing and Pharmaceutical sectors. You’ll be responsible for on-site servicing, maintenance, and testing of processing equipment, as well as occasional workshop-based assembly and repair tasks.
Reporting directly to the Team Lead, this role is ideal for a mechanically minded trade-qualified professional who thrives in a client-facing environment, enjoys problem-solving, and values teamwork. While based at our Victorian site, you’ll regularly travel to client sites across the region, with some interstate travel required from time to time.

Duties:
- Review drawings, instructions, and samples to ensure accurate assembly and repair
- Plan and execute tasks in proper sequence to complete assignments
- Carry out maintenance, minor repairs, and quality assurance checks
- Document work completed and provide timely reporting
- Maintain a safe and clean workstation and comply with safety protocols
- Contribute to overall team success through collaboration and support
Skills & Experience:
- Fully trade-qualified Fitter: Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical
- Proven experience in the Food & Beverage servicing industry, with strong mechanical aptitude
- Proficiency using hand tools and in mechanical assembly
- Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build client rapport
- Proficient in basic computer applications (MS Office, reporting software)
- Solid understanding of safety procedures and protocols
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Willingness to travel regionally and interstate as required
- Energetic and client-focused, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Neat and professional presentation (uniform provided)
- Current and valid Victorian Driver’s Licence
