Our client,a trusted name in forklift sales, rentals, and servicing, is seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Workshop Technician to join their Service Division. If you’re passionate about mechanical work, enjoy problem-solving, and take pride in quality service, this role is for you.
Duties:
- Service and repair a wide range of forklifts for both rental and retail customers.
- Carry out assessments, maintenance, and workshop-based repairs to ensure all equipment is safe and operational.
- Deliver high-quality workmanship with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.
- Communicate with customers on service and repair needs in a professional manner.
- Complete service records and timesheets accurately on a daily basis.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised workshop environment.
- Work flexibly with the service team and management to support business needs.
Skills & Qualifications:
- At least 2-3 years’ experience as a forklift mechanic or motor mechanic.
- A valid forklift and driver’s licence.
- Relevant qualifications (TAFE, Diploma, or Degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or related field).
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork.
- Ability to manage woroad efficiently while maintaining high service standards.
