About the Role
Our client, a well-established boutique accounting firm, is seeking an experienced Intermediate Accountant to join their team. This role primarily involves managing a growing portfolio of Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSF) clients, as well as assisting with tax returns and financial statements for a diverse range of businesses. You’ll report directly to two partners and work alongside a small, friendly team in a collaborative environment.

Duties
- Manage and prepare SMSF tax returns and financial statements using BGL 360 software.
- Assist business clients with tax preparation, financials, and other accounting services.
- Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients across various industries.
- Use MYOB AO and MYOB Classic Ledger for tax returns and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with partners to ensure excellent client service and results.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public practice.
- CPA or CA qualified, or currently pursuing CPA/CA qualifications.
- Proficiency in BGL 360, MYOB AO, and MYOB Classic Ledger is essential.
- Experience with Xero and MYOB software is advantageous.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with a passion for growing in public practice.
