About the Role
We’re seeking a Head of Assurance Services to lead the offensive security division of a leading Australian cyber consultancy. Reporting to the COO you’ll drive the strategic growth of the Assurance practice, mentor a high-performing national team, and ensure successful delivery of penetration testing and red teaming engagements for major clients across the country.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of offensive security consultants across Australia.
- Drive delivery excellence across penetration testing, red team, and security assessments.
- Innovate offensive methodologies, tools, and techniques to stay ahead of emerging threats.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, aligning offensive security initiatives with broader business risk and compliance needs.
- Collaborate with Sales and Pre-Sales to scope engagements and support business growth.
- Ensure high-quality, timely, and standards-aligned delivery of all Assurance projects.
About You
- 7-10 years of experience in offensive security, with at least 5 years in leadership.
- Deep technical expertise in penetration testing (web, infrastructure, cloud) and red teaming.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor high-performing, distributed teams.
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting technical outcomes to C-level stakeholders.
- Certifications such as OSCP, OSCE, CREST, GIAC (or similar) are highly desirable.
- Commercially aware, quality-driven, and client-focused.
