About the Role
You’ll be joining a family-owned business that, for over 40 years, has fostered successful partnerships with brand owners and trade customers, establishing itself as a leader in sustainable product distribution.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Category, this pivotal role focuses on guiding product development across key categories. You’ll oversee end-to-end planning, execution, and performance analysis throughout the full product lifecycle. Initial product categories include BBQ & Heating, Protective Gloves, Landscape & Garden, and Home & Garage Storage, with further expansion planned.

Duties:
- Managing all products within the designated categories, including sourcing
- Identify market needs, successfully execute products from concept through to launch
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers and manufacturers
- Actively involved with product sourcing, working with manufacturers, suppliers and pricing negotiations
- Assess vendor capabilities and ensure ongoing capacity meets business needs
- Project planning, coordination and delivery, including timelines, budgets
- Act as the main point of reference for all product-related queries
Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrable track record in product management combined with international sourcing, ideally within the FMCG/CPG industries
- A strong collaborator who can build effective relationships across cross-functional teams and international suppliers
- Experience in negotiating pricing and contract terms to maximise value while maintaining quality
- Ability to assess vendor capabilities and ensure ongoing capacity meets business requirements
- A mindset that continuously challenges, with innovation and creativity at the core
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- High level of computer literacy, numeracy skills and advanced level MS Excel skills
