About the Role
Here’s your opportunity to “take the reins” and run with it. With the support of the Marketing guru and the Tech Team you will be responsible for generating new business and expanding the customer base relating to Microsoft consulting, development and intranet software implementation. You’re daily energy, coupled with your methodical sales process and organisational skills will see you succeed in this role.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the sales process from engaging with leads, through to contract execution and handover to the delivery team.
- Lead discovery calls with prospects to understand their needs, requirements and decision making processes.
- Deliver effective sales presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Develop compelling proposals and tender submissions, to address customer needs and requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential customers.
- Forge the relationship with key Microsoft stakeholders.
- Work closely with Marketing to provide insights, identify and develop lead generation campaigns.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives.
About You
- You have strong experience in B2B sales, preferably in the IT sector.
- You thrive on achieving/exceeding targets, but customer focus is your priority.
- You have what it takes to finalise negotiations within a 2-4 month buying cycle.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and develop growth opportunities.
- Exceptional negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Confident communicating with C-suite, HR and tech decision makers.
- Pro-active and keen to take the initiative.
- Passionate about IT technology advancements working with senior executives and decision-makers.
- Preference will be given to Microsoft expertise, IT background, Intranet software and Microsoft experience.
