On behalf of my client, I am seeking two talented professionals to join his boutique architectural practice that values quality design, initiative, and collaboration. This forward-thinking firm embraces technology to work smarter—not harder. They are recognised for producing Class 2 residential flat developments and mixed-use projects.
Architectural Technician / Graduate Role
Due to continued growth, my client is looking for a skilled Technician Documenter with 3 to 5 years of Class 2 residential flat development experience or mixed use experience (within Australia). You’ll work closely with the Director and project teams to deliver technically sound and beautifully detailed outcomes.
The successful candidate will have:
- Diploma of Building Design or Bachelor/Master of Architecture with a minimum of 3 to 5 years post-graduate experience (in Australia) working on class 2 residential flat developments or mixed use projects.
- Experience contributing to all project stages, from design development to contract documentation
- Strong detailing and documentation skills, translating concept sketches into clear, buildable drawings
- High proficiency in Revit, including model management, scheduling, Family integration, and template development
- Ability to support Project Leaders and respond to RFIs during construction
- A passion for architectural detail and technical excellence
- The ability to work independently across multiple projects simultaneously
Architect Role (All-Rounder)
Once again, this role is available due to growth within the firm. The successful applicant has a strong appreciation for quality architecture and the documentation that underpins it. You will play a key role in ensuring design intent is maintained across all project stages and contribute positively to the studio’s collaborative culture.
The successful candidate will have:
- Master of Architecture with a minimum of 5 years’post-graduate (Australian) experience
- A passion for design and the ability to maintain design intent through all stages of documentation
- Advanced Revit documentation experience
- Proven experience developing DA proposals through to tender and construction documentation
- Strong consultant coordination and leadership skills
- Ability to produce clear, accurate, and comprehensive contract documentation
- Experience mentoring and overseeing junior team members
- Excellent knowledge of local construction systems, detailing, Australian Standards, and planning regulations
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and meet deadlines
