About the Role
Due to high demand this firm is in need of an Architect or an Architectural Designer with strong construction knowledge and advanced Revit expertise. You’ll work closely with the Director to deliver technically sound and beautifully detailed outcomes. To be considered you need to be able to “hit the ground running”. Ideally you will be capable of rolling up your sleeves and assisting across a variety of areas.
The successful candidate will have:
- Diploma of Building Design or Bachelor/Master of Architecture with Australian experience in class 2 developments
- Extensive DA & CC experience and proficiency with all processes involved
- Experience contributing to all project stages, from design development to contract documentation
- Strong detailing and documentation skills, translating concept sketches into clear, buildable drawings
- High proficiency in Revit, including model management, scheduling, Family integration, and template development
- Ability to support Project Leaders and respond to RFIs during construction
- A passion for architectural detail and technical excellence
- The ability to work independently across multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills on all levels
- Ability to produce clear, accurate, and comprehensive contract documentation
- Excellent knowledge of local construction systems, detailing, Australian Standards, and planning regulations
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and meet deadlines
