The People, Safety & Compliance Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting our client’s people management, recruitment, onboarding, workplace health and safety (WHS), contractor compliance, and employee administration processes. This position is essential for maintaining accurate employee and safety records, coordinating recruitment efforts, and fostering a positive employee experience.

Duties:
- Maintain employee records and coordinate onboarding/offboarding documentation.
- Manage HR communications and routine inquiries professionally.
- Coordinate recruitment processes, from job advertising to candidate communication.
- Assist in preparing engaging job advertisements to attract talent.
- Ensure compliance with WHS requirements and maintain safety records.
- Track contractor compliance documentation and certifications.
- Prepare HR and WHS compliance reports for management review.
- Support employee engagement initiatives aligned with company values.
Skills and experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in HR administration or a similar role is required
- Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate IV or Diploma in HR, WHS or Business Administration.
- Strong administration and communication skills essential.
- Confidence in using HR systems and compliance tools is needed.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
- Local presence for onsite inductions and HR administration required.
- Familiarity with Employment Hero and Smartsheet systems (preferred)
- Working knowledge of Australian employment practices and WHS obligations and contractor compliance
