Leading financial services group are seeking an experienced and qualified Tax Accountant to support their growing financial planning and accounting practice. In this role, you will manage client relationships, oversee annual tax compliance for self-managed superannuation funds (SMSFs), and act as the primary contact for client SMSF administration issues. Your responsibilities will include project management of SMSF fund establishments and reviewing financial accounts.

Duties:
- Act as main contact for SMSF administration issues
- Attend client meetings concerning SMSF reporting and structure
- Project manage SMSF fund establishment processes
- Review SMSF annual accounts and tax returns for accuracy
- Prepare and lodge BAS and statutory reports
- Oversee the management of income streams through outsourcing
- Maintain and upgrade relevant software
- Prepare tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and SMSFs
- Supervise ASIC compliance and relevant procedures
Skills and Experience:
- Relevant qualifications in Accounting
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within a tax business services role
- Tax Agent registration preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience in business development and relationship management
- Proficient in accounting software and IT systems
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team
- Positive, motivated and energetic attitude
