About the Role:
Our client is Australia leading manufacturer of domestic Wastewater Treatment Systems. With over 50 years industry experience, they are constantly striving to improve and perfect their products, with the aim of delivering the best results for their customers and for the environment.
With the company experiencing significant growth and enterprise wide initiatives, they are now seeking a suitably qualified, self-motivated, focused individual who has exceptional attention to detail, along with strong Accounting skills to assist the Finance Team. This will be a busy and challenging hands-on role, where you will be supporting the Financial Controller with day to day Accounting functions including, bank and credit card reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, financial reporting and ad hoc financial support.

Duties:
- Collating and preparation of monthly reporting packs
- Month end accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
- Bank & Credit Card Reconciliations
- Motor Vehicle Fleet Management
- Support the annual stock taking process
- Provide back up to AP, AR & Procurement as required
- Assist Financial Controller with Budget preparation
- Intercompany invoicing and reconciliations
- Ad hoc financial support as required
Skills and Experience:
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Possess relevant Tertiary qualifications, or currently working towards same
- Proficient in Accounting Software ie; MYOB, Xero, Quickbooks
- Knowledge of MS Office with Advanced Excel skills
- Experience in manufacturing and/or distribution would be advantageous
- Team player, who is able to apply a hands on approach to their work
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to take responsibility for key tasks and deliver results
- High attention to detail and a pro-active approach to problem-solving
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to adapt and learn quickly
- MUST be living in Australia and have full working rights
