About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy warehouse, leading a team of approximately 12 staff to ensure orders are received, stored and dispatched safely, accurately and efficiently. This is a hands-on leadership position where you’ll be responsible for team performance, safety, inventory accuracy and process improvements, while maintaining high service levels across the operation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, mentoring and developing a warehouse team of approximately 12 employees
- Conducting regular toolbox talks and promoting a strong safety culture
- Supervising receiving, picking, packing and dispatch activities
- Managing workflow to achieve productivity, quality and service targets
- Monitoring inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock control processes
- Coordinating inbound and outbound logistics activities
- Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with WHS policies, procedures and best practices
- Maintaining warehouse systems and operational reporting
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to support business requirements

About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Team Leader or a similar leadership role
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop warehouse teams
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control and logistics processes
- Experience conducting toolbox meetings and promoting workplace safety
- A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify efficiencies and implement change
- Strong computer skills and experience working with warehouse or ERP systems (NetSuite experience highly regarded)
- Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence
- Current Forklift Licence (desirable)
