About the Role;
Our client is a leading supplier of world-class construction equipment brands, offering both sales and hire solutions to a broad customer base. In addition, they operate a highly regarded after-sales division providing expert servicing and parts support.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Parts Consultant to join their team. This is a fast paced role, where you will be working closely with both internal and external customers, with the primary focus of this role being the sourcing, selling and transferring of parts. You will engage with customers face-to-face, via email and over the phone, providing effective solutions to parts enquiries while delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
Experience within the earthmoving or construction equipment industry will be highly regarded; however, candidates with backgrounds in agricultural or light vehicle parts are also encouraged to apply.

Duties:
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, face to face, over the phone, via email and online.
- Processing of sales orders, quotes, invoices, cash handling, EFTPOS and trade accounts.
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge and provide advice to customers
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to use your initiative
- Complete and coordinate all associated paperwork, record keeping and updating the internal CRM systems.
- Generate new business leads and maximise opportunities with every customer interaction.
- Identify and resolve customer concerns, with timely follow up on all client contact.
- Represent the company values, ethics and services in a professional manner at all times
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in automotive parts consulting, preferably with heavy vehicle or similar. Light vehicle will be considered.
- Strong solution focused problem-solving skills
- Passion for building customer relationships and providing top notch service
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Office applications
- A genuine team player with a supportive and friendly personality
- Forklift licence or the ability to obtain a licence
- MUST have full Australian working rights. This role is not suitable to candidates not residing in Australia or requiring Sponsorship.
