About the Role:
Our client has been proudly Australian owned and operated since 1989. They are the leading independent supplier of safety equipment, clothing and footwear and supply Tier 1 and Tier 2 clients across the construction, mining and industrial markets.
A fantastic opportunity is now available for a pro-active and self-motivated Sales Administrator, who offers high level customer service and thrives working in a fast-paced environment. This is a pivotal role for the company, where you will be the first point of contact for all calls and sales enquiries, follow up sales leads, provide quotations, update clients on delivery schedules and support the sales team with day to day tasks.

Duties:
- Be the first point of contact and respond to inbound customer calls, sales leads and email enquiries
- Build and maintain relationships with Customers & Key Accounts
- Prepare and process sales orders, quotes, and pricing updates
- Support Account Managers with administration functions
- Assist to coordinate customer onboarding and account setup
- Handle customer returns, credits and exchanges
- Advise customers of ETA’s and backorders
- Ensure all customer complaints are addressed in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with reporting, office coordination and general administrative tasks
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years in a sales & customer administration role within an Office environment
- High level MS Office skills, including Word & Excel
- High level problem solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot customer requests
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic “can-do” attitude
- Professional manner and the ability to utilise your initiative
- Positive, optimistic outlook and a good sense of humour
- High moralistic and ethical values
- Excellent time management and organisational ability
