About the Role:
Our client specialises in the design, engineering and fabrication of landscape engineering and architectural products. They are a national distributor and manufacturer of a wide range of products and with over 50 years experience, they have established themselves as a leader in their field.
Due to the retirement of a long term team member, they are now seeking a self-motivated, flexible team player, who is skilled in warehouse, logistics and forklift operations and is looking for their next long term challenge. This role will see you responsible for assisting with picking/packing of orders, loading/unloading of trucks and containers, updating customers on orders and deliveries, coordinating freight and logistics, order entry, inventory and stocktakes. TWe are looking for someone who has a flexible “can-do” attitude and takes pride in their work.

Duties:
- Operate forklift safely and efficiently
- Load and unload trucks, containers and delivery vehicles
- Pick, pack and stage orders in line with dispatch schedules
- Replenish picking bays to maintain warehouse flow
- Perform cycle counts and assist with stocktakes
- Check incoming goods against paperwork and report discrepancies or damage
- Pallet wrapping, labelling and preparing freight for transport
- Maintain accurate inventory records within WMS/ERP systems
- Liaise with customers regarding deliveries
- Coordinate and negotiate freight & logistics
- Assist with manual handling and general warehouse duties as required
Skills and Experience:
- Flexible pro-active team player, who can make decisions to meet daily business requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in logistics and warehouse coordination
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 20kgs
- Positive and flexible attitude and a genuine desire to deliver on commitments
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Neat and tidy and takes pride in their presentation
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Forklift Licence with 2+ years experience
- Clean drivers licence
- Strong understanding of OH&S requirements
- MUST have full AU working rights & be residing in WA. Sponsorship IS NOT available for this role.
