About the Role:
Established in the 1990s, our client is one of the leading tarpaulin manufacturers, supplying products for agriculture, industrial, and commercial users across Australia.
A newly created position is now available for a confident, energetic, self-motivated Business Development Manager, who will be responsible for managing and servicing the Western Australia region. This is a busy sales-focused role, requiring frequent travel throughout WA, where you will be meeting with new and existing customers and promoting commercial on-site storage solutions for the Agribusiness sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive B2B sales experience, a solution-selling mindset and knowledge or background in the Agribusiness sector.

Duties:
- Manage and develop strategic relationships with key accounts across the WA Territory, ensuring exceptional service and identifying new revenue opportunities.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Develop and execute effective call plans to maximise field presence.
- Provide regular customer performance reporting and analysis to senior management.
- Ensure accurate & timely CRM management and reporting.
- Undertake regular multi-night/overnight travel within your assigned territory.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the key client needs and requirements
- Attend industry and trade events to promote solutions and build brand visibility.
Skills and Experience:
- Sound experience and/or knowledge of the Agribusiness sector
- Strong B2B sales skills, with the ability to build & foster long-term relationships
- Highly driven, with the ability to consistently meet and exceed targets
- Be able to plan and manage your own appointments and schedules
- Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
- Strong commercial acumen and accountability, with the ability to analyse data and make data driven decisions
- Sound computer skills including MS Office and CRM systems
- Current drivers licence
- Be available to travel extensively throughout your Territory
- Excellent time management & organizational skills
