About the Role
Our client is a well-established and highly regarded commercial cleaning company with nearly two decades of industry expertise. Built on a reputation for quality, service, and long-term partnerships with iconic Australian brands and Government organisations, they continue to expand and are now seeking a dynamic Area Manager.
In this newly created role, you’ll combine relationship management and business development in a true B2B environment. From nurturing existing accounts and conducting site audits to quoting opportunities and securing new contracts, you’ll play a hands-on role in growing your area. The position offers a mix of office and on-road work (50/50 split), giving you the chance to build genuine client connections while making a measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and strengthen client relationships through excellent service and regular contact
- Manage a structured call cycle to achieve and exceed sales KPIs
- Identify, close, and onboard new business opportunities
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and prepare accurate quotes
- Liaise between clients and cleaning teams to ensure standards are met
- Represent client feedback to senior management to guide business direction
- Maintain CRM records and prepare sales reports
- Assist with interviewing and onboarding new cleaning teams
Skills & Experience
- Proven B2B sales/account management experience (cleaning industry experience an advantage but not essential)
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, “can-do” attitude
- Passion for people and delivering outstanding customer service
- Ability to work independently, prioritise, and manage competing demands
- Professional, confident, and able to build instant rapport
- Highly organised with great attention to detail
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Results-driven and motivated to make a real impact
- Valid driver’s licence and good knowledge of the Brisbane area
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and CRM systems
- Own clean reliable vehicle
