About the Role:

A newly created position is now available for an experienced Forklift Operator/Warehouse Assistant who has excellent problem-solving skills, is highly motivated and has an excellent attention to detail. This is a busy challenging role, responsible for managing the issuing of raw materials to the printing presses. This role will suit someone who has previous experience in warehouse, manufacturing and inventory roles and who can demonstrate their skills and ability using a high reach forklift. In addition, you will need to have a stable work history and above all, be passionate about the performance and quality of your work.

Duties:
- Timely picking and issuing of raw materials to jobs and printing presses, adhering to labelling and work ticket specifications.
- Prioritise orders based on urgency and customer requirements.
- Pallet wrapping and preparing goods for dispatch
- Stock put aways
- Any other tasks as directed by the Warehouse and Dispatch Team Leader
- Maintain a tidy, clean warehouse, ensuring all goods are allocated and stored correctly
- Adhere to company WH&S, manual handling and PPE policies and procedures
Skills and Experience:
- Min 3 years demonstrated experience in a warehousing/forklift role
- Current Forklift licence, with 3 plus years of recent experience
- Experience in the printing and/or label manufacturing industry will be an advantage, OR, experience in manufacturing/production lines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible team player, who has the ability to work autonomously and responsibly
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy items correctly
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to adapt and learn quickly
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- A high level of honesty and integrity
- Intermediate computer literacy in MS Office and experience with SAP systems for inventory, pick, packing and dispatch
- High respect for workplace health & safety
