About the role:
Our client is a wholly owned Australian business, who are one of the leading importers/wholesalers of automotive spare parts in Australia. With warehousing facilities in 4 states in Australia, their success is attributed to their wealth of experience and their team of professional staff who work alongside their suppliers to exceed the expectations of their customers.
They are now seeking an experienced Storeperson who has a forklift licence, is reliable, fit, friendly and looking for permanent stable employment. You will be unloading containers, receiving and quality control of goods and assisting with general warehouse duties. Accuracy, attention to detail and a willing flexible attitude, with the ability to work well in a team environment will set you apart from the rest.

Duties:
- Operating forklifts safely
- Moving stock and sorting inwards goods
- Manual handling up to 25kg
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers
- Unpacking and storing items in the correct locations
- Participate in cyclical stocktakes
Skills and Experience:
- A current forklift license
- Previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to follow and understand written instructions
- Physically fit & manual handling experience, with the ability to lift up to 25kgs
- Exceptional time management skills
- An excellent attendance record at work
- Team player with a strong work ethic
- A safety conscious mindset and commitment to Health & Safety
- Attention to detail coupled with good numerical and verbal skills
- MUST have full Australian Working Rights
