What You’ll Be Doing:
You’ll be part of the production team responsible for transforming raw materials into finished timber products. Your day will include:
- Operating Machinery: Safely use and maintain production equipment such as saws, drills, sanders, and other tools to shape and finish timber components.
- Product Assembly: Assemble timber display units and components according to job lists and quality standards.
- Packing Orders: Carefully pack finished goods and combine them with warehouse items to complete customer orders.
- Quality Control: Monitor production for defects, remove faulty items, and ensure every product meets high standards.
- Material Handling: Store raw materials and finished goods in designated areas to support efficient workflow.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse staff and fellow operators to keep production running smoothly.
- Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Process Improvement: Share ideas and feedback to help improve systems and streamline operations.
What will make you stand out:
- Forklift license
- Driver’s license (preferred)
- Experience in manufacturing, production, or assembly-line work (preferred)
- Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move throughout the day
- Familiarity with hand tools and basic machinery
- Confidence using ERP systems and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
