About the Role
We are seeking an experienced National Warehousing, Distribution & Logistics Manager to lead and optimise our client’s end-to-end logistics and warehousing operations across Australia.
This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who has set up, scaled, and operated high-volume logistics warehouses and understands the urgency and complexity of dispatching hundreds of orders per day across multiple sites.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will have full accountability for Group’s national warehousing, distribution, and logistics performance across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth.
Your core focus will be on ensuring fast, accurate, and cost-effective order fulfilment, driving continuous improvement, and building high-performing warehouse and logistics teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations of multiple high-volume warehouses and distribution centres
- Oversee rapid order dispatch operations, ensuring DIFOT and productivity targets are consistently met
- Manage inventory flow, warehouse productivity, freight performance, and delivery outcomes nationally
- Drive process optimisation, cost control, and operational efficiency across all sites
- Establish and monitor KPIs, producing consolidated monthly operational reports
- Lead, coach, and develop Warehouse Managers, warehouse teams, and truck drivers
- Ensure full compliance with WH&S, company policies, and industry regulations
- Work closely with senior leadership to align operational strategy with business growth
What We’re Looking For
- Proven, hands-on experience setting up and operating high-volume logistics or distribution warehouses
- Demonstrated success managing multi-site warehouse operations with fast turnaround and high dispatch volumes
- Strong background in inventory management, distribution networks, and logistics optimisation
- Confident leader with experience managing large, cross-functional operational teams
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including budget and cost management
- High-level problem-solving, organisational, and decision-making skills
- Experience using ERP systems, WMS, TMS, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, “just get it done” environment
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Residence holder
