Duties:
- Develop, renovate, enhance web applications scoped by our Digital Services Team.
- Work with our Database Team to integrate their stored procedures into your web-site.
- Work with third party suppliers to integrate their APIs into your web-site
- Understand and implement cross-browser compatibility.
- Develop web-sites with different screen sizes, ie, compatibility with Mobile devices
- Troubleshoot and investigate any issues and avoid any future errors/bugs/defects.
Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of commercial web programming experience, with a strong understanding of the internet, web browsers, and cross-platform compatibility issues.
- A relevant tertiary qualification and/or at least 3 years of experience in a similar commercial role.
- Proven expertise in C# (.NET Core, Web API, MVC), TypeScript/JavaScript, React + Redux, jQuery, and AJAX.
- Strong skills in HTML, CSS, SASS, and responsive design techniques.
- Familiarity with IIS, Git, and Bitbucket.
- Solid experience working with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in debugging and software optimisation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams.
- Experience with Angular (highly regarded).
- Exposure to third-party tools such as Telerik Controls and Kendo UI (desirable).
- Familiarity with EDM mail servers such as SendGrid (desirable).
- Experience with Payment Gateway Integration, including eWay, Stripe, Adyen, PayPal, AfterPay, or Zip (desirable).
- Proficiency in development tools including Git, Bitbucket, Visual Studio 2015/2019, and SQL Server Management Studio.
- Permanent working rights in Australia are essential.
