About the Role
Due to continued business growth, our client is looking for a qualified Pest Control Technician to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate must be fully licensed/qualified and experienced in all areas of termite and pest control.
Reporting to the Director, the successful applicant will be required to independently service domestic, residential and commercial properties as well as building sites. Located within 15-30 minutes of Sydney CDB, you will be responsible for servicing a local area with a 15-20km radius.

Duties:
- Liaise with clients to determine and provide effective pest management solutions
- Inspection of buildings, residences and the surrounding environment for signs of pests
- Determine the appropriate type of treatment required to eliminate issues
- Apply suitable pest control methods and create barriers to prevent further problem
- Liaise with the appropriate office staff to schedule jobs
- Complete and submit reports, proposals and for each job
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum five years’ experience within a management role in a similar industry with demonstrated experience in residential, commercial and hospitality environments
- Qualified Pest and Termite Management Technician
- Ability to perform thorough timber pest inspections
- Hands-on experience – Termite barriers and baiting systems
- High-level communication skills in dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
- Has the drive to lead by example to set a high standard of customer service
- Excellent report writing skills a must
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Technical proficiency and sound compliance knowledge
- Valid NSW driver’s license
- Must be a Permanent Resident of Australia
