About the Role
Due to business growth, our client is seeking a self-motivated, career driven and focused Intermediate Accountant to join their highly skilled professional team.
Reporting directly to Senior Managers and Directors, this role will be responsible in managing a diverse portfolio of clients including individuals, partnerships, companies and trusts in providing a wide range of end-to-end business services – tax, auditing, SMSF, income taxes, whilst focusing on building strong relationships.

Duties:
- Conduct technical research to provide accounting, taxation, auditing, and business advice to a wide portfolio of clients
- Undertake and analyse complex accounting and reporting tasks
- Preparation of SMSF, income taxes & financial statements
- Manage your own client list for Business/Individual Activity Statement preparation.
- Effectively foster and maintain client and team relationships
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a CA or CPA practice
- Degree qualified (Accounting, Commerce or Business) with CA/CPA qualifications or near completion (highly regarded)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- High attention to detail and client confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with ATO Portal, Class Super, Xero, BDO Audit
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Professional work ethic with an ability to work as an integral member of a team and autonomously.
- Must be on a Permanent Residency Visa/Citizen
