Our client is seeking a dedicated Grounds Keeper to join their dynamic team in maintaining high-quality landscaping at a retirement village.
This role involves managing and executing a variety of grounds maintenance duties, including mowing, edging, and planting, to ensure the client’s properties are in impeccable condition. The successful candidate will report directly to the on-site Team Leader and work closely with a small team of three other maintenance staff, contributing to a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Duties:
- Perform general grounds maintenance tasks.
- Maintain the expected standard of work diligently.
- Execute mowing, edging, and snipping operations.
- Carry out weeding, mulching, and planting activities.
- Conduct pruning, sweeping, and litter collection tasks.
- Apply chemicals as needed following safety protocols.
- Ensure safe operation and maintenance of tools and equipment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve objectives.
Skills and Experience:
- Certificate in Horticulture or equivalent experience.
- Valid manual driver’s licence is essential.
- First Aid certificate is an advantage.
- Chemical application licence preferred.
- White Card for construction induction required.
- Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain).
- Police Check (or willing to obtain).
- Must be reliable, punctual, and physically fit for the tasks.
