About the Role: Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a dynamic Project Management Office (PMO) and lead the successful delivery of diverse cybersecurity and technology initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work across high-profile projects that are critical to organisational growth and security resilience.
You will be responsible for managing end-to-end project lifecycles, engaging with internal stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to ensure timely, on-budget, and high-quality outcomes. A key part of the role is championing PMO governance, project reporting, and continuous improvement across project delivery frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the delivery of cybersecurity and IT projects from initiation to closure.
- Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring governance and stakeholder alignment.
- Facilitate kick-off meetings, project updates, and decision tracking sessions.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.
- Prepare accurate, timely project reporting including financial tracking and resource utilisation.
- Build strong working relationships with internal teams, external partners, and vendors.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure PMO standards are met.
- Drive continuous improvement by embedding lessons learned and optimising delivery processes.
- Utilise project management tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, MS Project, or Smartsheet.
About You:
- Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in project management, preferably in cybersecurity, IT, or technology environments.
- Proven experience working within or alongside a formal PMO.
- Strong understanding of project governance and delivery frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
- Solid experience managing cross-functional teams in complex matrix environments.
- Proficiency with ServiceNow (SNOW) for project management is highly desirable.
- PMP, Prince2, or Agile certifications will be highly regarded.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and remain calm under pressure.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
