Our client is an Australian subsidiary of a global manufacturer with a small to medium operation specialising in solenoid and pneumatic valve solutions for the OEM, industrial, and process sectors. They’re innovators, collaborators, and problem-solvers – and they’re growing. That’s where you come in.
 
They are seeking a motivated, solutions-focused Sales Representative to join their tight-knit, high-energy team. While small in size locally, the team brings a big spirit – committed to supporting one another, sharing a laugh, and making a genuine impact for their customers.
 
What You’ll Be Doing

  • Owning the full sales cycle in Victoria – from market development to closing orders
  • Building strong partnerships with OEMs, reps, distributors, and end-users
  • Developing and implementing effective sales strategies
  • Creating value-driven proposals and tailored customer solutions
  • Nurturing new business opportunities and meeting with prospective customers
  • Monthly reporting on sales activities
  • Consistently achieving monthly and annual sales targets
  • Travelling extensively (up to 70%) across your territory, with some travel to NSW and SA as required

What You’ll Bring

  • A proven track record in B2B technical sales (3-5+ years) in the pneumatics or mechanical industry
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivation, strong organisation, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Outgoing personality with a good sense of humour
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Familiarity with CRM and Office365 tools
  • An engineering qualification (a bonus, not essential)
