Duties:
- Develop innovative structural designs for custom housing projects.
- Conduct structural analyses and produce detailed calculations.
- Review and refine designs for compliance and budget alignment.
- Engage with clients to understand and meet their needs.
- Provide regular updates to clients, addressing concerns proactively.
- Manage design-related costs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Validate all structural designs for accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet high standards.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in structural engineering focused on housing projects.
- Proficient in design and analysis software like Space Gass, Inducta, AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of Australian building codes and regulations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and budget.
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a dynamic team.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a car.
